Video: Turkana officials say the county lacks a valuation roll and has weak revenue collection

Turkana officials, appearing before the Senate Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on September 18, say the county lacks a valuation roll and has weak revenue collection despite a potential of Sh2.5 billion. They added that Turkana has automated 22 out of 23 revenue streams, with liquor licensing excluded due to a national directive issued in 2019.
