Video: Boniface Mwangi’s lead advocate says Boniface Mwangi had no ammunition or tear gas

Boniface Mwangi’s lead advocate, Njanja Maina, has refuted claims by the DCI that the activist was found in possession of ammunition and two tear gas canisters. She stated that the items were planted by the police in an attempt to justify terrorism charges levelled against Mwangi. Maina said that Mwangi did not have the items in his possession and that his legal team was not informed of the recovery and vowed to challenge the accusations head-on in court.
