Video: President Ruto: In evening, between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm, we are forced to implement load-shedding
While meeting Kenyans in Qatar, President William Ruto claimed the country is currently experiencing an energy shortfall, prompting daily load-shedding between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm to stabilise the national grid. President Ruto: In the evening, between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm, we are forced to implement load-shedding. We have to shut down power in some areas to supply others because our energy capacity is insufficient. We also cannot afford to be left behind in artificial intelligence (AI), which is a major energy consumer.
