A critical ruling on Tuesday by a three-judge panel will determine the future of Rigathi Gachagua, the impeached deputy president.

This turn of events, they claim, raises concerns about the integrity of the judicial process and the petitioners' ability to receive a fair hearing.

Additionally, Gachagua highlighted media reports indicating that Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi stated that Kindiki would be sworn in as Deputy President on October 22.

At the same time, the High Court has put a temporary halt on the appointment process.

This comes after the Senate upheld the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday night.

Gachagua expressed his outrage over the accusations and clarified his role as the executor of his brother's estate in a late Monday press briefing.

CS Kindiki also defended the police response to the protests, insisting that there is no evidence of brutality.

The CS challenged leaders who took oaths of office to refrain from ethnic fanatism and remain focused on serving Kenyans.

Kindiki says these regulations are intended to prevent chaotic and violent confrontations between protesters and the police, following a spate of deadly anti-government protests across the country in June.

A total of 3,300 Kenyan Muslims are participating in this year's Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca and are looking forward to enjoying the accommodation arrangements made by Saudi Arabia.

Police officers are prohibited from making official comments on incidents, policies, or procedures without clearance.

Kindiki added that the devastating impacts of illicit small arms trafficking remain a priority challenge for Africa.
