Eastleigh's Burhan FC aims to extend winning streak

By |

Burhan FC is off to a strong start in the FKF Division Two, leading the table with three wins from three matches. As they prepare for their next challenge against Vision FC, head coach Hussein "Terry" Ali urges the team to stay focused and build on their early momentum.

Burhan FC is enjoying a dream start to their FKF Division Two campaign, topping the table with three wins in as many matches. The Eastleigh-based side opened their season with a commanding 3-1 victory over Makarios, followed by a narrow 1-0 win against Gatongora FC and a 2-0 triumph over KNH FC.

As they gear up for a clash with Vision FC on Sunday, 27th October, at the Vision Ground in Nairobi, head coach Hussein “Terry” Ali has urged his players to stay focused. "It is a dream start, no doubt—we're top of the table and everyone within our club is buzzing at the moment. It’s a reward for the hard work and sacrifice we’ve all put in. However, this league is a marathon, not a sprint," Ali told Eastleigh Voice. "I've reminded the boys that it's just three games in; the journey is long."

Ali is confident but cautious ahead of the match, emphasizing the importance of maintaining their form. "Our hope and plan is to win, of course. We just want to carry on with this good run and have prepared well for the game. It’s going to be tough, but we know how to grind out results."

Kickoff against Vision FC is scheduled for 3 PM.
