Defence CS nominee Soipan Tuya and Land, Housing and Urban Development counterpart Alice Wahome who were alongside Kindiki vetted by the Parliamentary Committee on Appointments Thursday received 48 and 40 petitions respectively.
Other nominees received memorandums ranging between one and 33, all of which are part of the total of 1,368 memorandums that were submitted.
Of the petitions submitted, 157 which were sent via email were dismissed after it was established that they did not comply with some sections of the Parliamentary Approval Act.
Some 32 petitions were also flagged for not focusing on the subject matter alongside 17 others that were not signed and commissioned by law.
National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula assured Kenyans that the committee on appointments would scrutinise all the submissions, including those that only had general comments regarding the nominees.
