The Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM) has announced that 4,500 Kenyans are set to undertake the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The Kenyan Hajj Mission, led by Al-Hajj Hassan Ole Naado, finalised agreements with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, outlining their respective commitments for the upcoming pilgrimage season.

During the ceremony in Jeddah, attended by notable figures including Saudi Arabian officials and Kenya's Supreme Council members, emphasis was placed on adhering to timelines and ensuring proper arrangements for accommodation, meals, and transportation for the pilgrims.

Dr Abdul Fattah Suliman Al-Mashat, Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, highlighted the Kingdom's dedication to offering excellent services for pilgrims worldwide.

Hassan Ole Naado expressed gratitude for the Ministry's efforts, confirming the Kenyan delegation's commitment to collaborating closely with Saudi authorities.

Additionally, he announced their participation in the upcoming Hajj 2024 Conference in Jeddah, uniting representatives from 129 nations, scheduled to commence on February 8.
