Full FA Cup third round draw: Arsenal welcome Liverpool as Manchester United travel to Wigan
The 32 ties are scheduled to take place on the first weekend of January, from Friday, January 5, to Monday, January 8, with the final set for May 25, 2023, at Wembley Stadium.
The third round of the English FA Cup promises thrilling encounters as 14-time winners Arsenal prepare to welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium. Defending champions Manchester City will kick off their cup defence against Championship side Huddersfield at the Etihad Stadium.
In another exciting matchup, Sunderland and Newcastle will face off in the Tyne-Wear derby, marking their first clash since March 2016. Chelsea, meanwhile, will play host to Preston, who will embark on a 466-mile round trip to Stamford Bridge.
