CECs who have retained their positions include Michael Gumo (Innovation and Digital Economy) Charles Kerich (Finance and Economic Affairs) and Suzzane Silantoi ( Health).

Sakaja's cabinet was sworn in on December 8, 2022, after being approved by the county assembly.

A county executive committee shall implement county legislation.

This means that the committee is responsible for ensuring that laws passed by the county assembly are put into action effectively.

Additionally, the committee shall implement national legislation within the county to the extent that the legislation requires it. This involves executing national laws at the local level as mandated.

The committee is also tasked with managing and coordinating the functions of the county administration and its departments. This includes overseeing various administrative tasks and ensuring that all departments work harmoniously.

Finally, the county executive committee shall perform any other functions conferred on it by the Constitution or national legislation.
