Relatives and doctors said she had heart problems and suffered cardiac arrest several times due to blood clotting, dying on March 20 at 7.20 am.
Ayieko joined New Eastleigh Primary School late last year after registering under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
On Tuesday, several teachers, headteachers, board members, relatives, chiefs, and residents attended a prayer service in her honour at the school.
Headteacher Hassan Tala praised her, saying she was cheerful, kind, and a team player.
"Faith was one of the best teachers here," he said, adding that the whole institution would miss her.
Daniel Karanja, the Kamukunji chairman of the Kenya Primary Schools Head Teachers Association, said all the schools in Kamukunji were shocked by Ayieko's sudden death.
Karanja, the headteacher of Eastleigh Airport Primary School, asked the people to celebrate the teacher's life.
"We are all here to offer our condolences. When a teacher dies, the nation loses since a teacher represents the nation," he said.
Faith was an only child but had nine siblings from two stepmothers.
Stephen Oduor, her elder stepbrother, said, "My father was married to three wives. Faith was the only child of her mother, who was my father's second wife."
He eulogised her as a friend, confidant, and peacemaker, and thanked the schools for their support, saying it was a good gesture.
"There was a time when our family was divided. She did not take sides but brought us together," he said.
Funeral arrangements are underway, but the family has not yet set a date.
