Kamukunji mourns community leader Aggrey Kataka

Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan eulogised Kataka as a dedicated advocate for land rights and affordable housing.
Kamukunji Community is mourning one of its community leaders 70-year-old Mzee Aggrey Kataka.
Mzee Aggrey Kataka succumbed to lung cancer on Sunday.

Mzee Kataka served in various leadership capacities, notably as the chair of the Luhya community in Pumwani and secretary of the Shauri Moyo Riverbank Settlement Scheme in Blue Estate.
Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan eulogised Kataka as a dedicated advocate for land rights and affordable housing.
He said his contributions to our community have been immeasurable to the local community.
"My heartfelt condolences to his family and the Mulembe community in Kamukunji, as well as his ancestral home in Khwisero, Kakamega County. May he rest in peace," the MP said.
