Lamu Governor Issa Timamy leads food distribution drive to flood-stricken families

Lamu County Governor Issa Timamy took the lead in an initiative designed to provide relief to the flood-stricken victims in Pandanguo amidst the relentless downpours causing widespread devastation.
Numerous families were on Friday the recipients of essential food supplies, offering much-needed assistance to those severely affected by the floods.

Emphasising the program's ongoing nature, Governor Timamy assured continuous aid for the vulnerable members of the community, highlighting the collaborative efforts between the county and the national government in identifying and supporting those most affected.
Acknowledging their crucial role, Governor Timamy expressed gratitude to the Kenya Defence Forces for ensuring the safety of county officials during the distribution process.
Accompanied by his Deputy, Raphael Munyua, and Chief of Staff, Mr Abdulnasir Issa, Governor Timamy demonstrated a united front in addressing the challenges faced by the flood victims in Pandanguo.
