Fuel prices remain unchanged in latest EPRA review

Pump prices for Super Petrol will retail at Sh176.58, Diesel at Sh167.06 and Kerosene at Sh151.39 for the February-March pricing cycle in Nairobi.
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that there will be no change in fuel prices for the next 30 days.
In a statement released on Friday, by EPRA, pump prices for Super Petrol will retail at Sh176.58, Diesel at Sh167.06 and Kerosene at Sh151.39 for the February-March pricing cycle in Nairobi.

The new pricing takes effect from midnight.
"In the period under review, the maximum allowed petroleum prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene remain unchanged," EPRA stated.
In theother major cities, a litre of petrol retail at Sh173.43 in Mombasa, Sh175.80 (Nakuru), Sh176.62 (Eldoret and Kisumu).
Diesel will retail at Sh168.82 (Mombasa), Sh167.06 (Nairobi), Sh166.63 (Nakuru), Sh167.45 (Eldoret), and Sh167.44 (Kisumu).
Kerosene will sell at Sh151.82 (Kisumu and Eldoret), Sh151.01 (Nakuru), Sh151.39 (Nairobi), and Sh148.15 (Mombasa).
The prices reflect the inclusion of a 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT), in compliance with the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024, and the revised excise duty rates adjusted for inflation under Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
