Bandari edge Gor Mahia, Murang’a humble Sofapaka as City Stars and Bidco share spoils

Gor Mahia remains at the top of the log despite the loss to Bandari in Mombasa
Bandari FC left an everlasting memory of their last match at the Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa before its closure for renovation with a 1-0 victory over league leaders Gor Mahia.
The Dockers had been winless in 10 matches against K’Ogalo since a 2-1 success over the 20-time Kenyan champions on December 8, 2018. Fidel Origa scored the all-important for the home side in the 40th minute, condemning their high-flying visitors to only their second loss of the season. The defeat cut Gor Mahia’s lead at the top of the table to 7 points as Bandari rose to second place with 43 points.
