The Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League resumes this weekend after an international break, with four exciting fixtures set to reignite the competition as teams look to regain rhythm and form.
The early stages of the 2025/26 season have already shown promise, with Vihiga Queens topping the 12-team table on goal difference ahead of Trinity Starlets and defending champions Kenya Police Bullets. All three sides are tied on six points from two matches.

At Zetech University, Zetech Sparks will aim to bounce back when they host Ulinzi Starlets. Sparks have had a mixed start, opening with a win against Kisped Queens before falling 3-0 to Kenya Police Bullets.
Ulinzi, meanwhile, remain unbeaten following a goalless draw with Kibera Soccer Women and a commanding 4-0 victory over Kisped Queens, signalling their intent to challenge for the title once again. With just a point separating the two sides, the clash at Mangu promises to be closely contested.

The reigning champions have netted seven goals in two matches and will be confident against a side still searching for its first point. However, Gideon Starlets have shown attacking promise and will hope to build on their narrow 3-2 loss to Kayole Starlets last time out.
Elsewhere, Kibera Soccer Women host high-flying Trinity Starlets at Marist University in Karen, hoping to secure their first win of the season after collecting just one point from two outings.
In the final fixture of the day, Kasarani Annex will stage the encounter between Kayole Starlets and Kisumu Allstarlets. Kayole will look to build on their recent win, while Kisumu, level on points with Trinity, aim to extend their unbeaten start.
