Posta Rangers suffered a setback in their quest for the FKF Premier League title on Saturday, December 2, 2023, losing 1-0 to Nairobi City Stars in a clash held at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
The decisive goal came in the 17th minute when Samuel Kapen unleashed a powerful shot, beating Rangers goalkeeper John Njau. City Stars managed to hold onto their lead for the remaining 73 minutes of the match.

The defeat creates an opportunity for defending champions Gor Mahia to claim the top spot if they secure a victory against Kariobangi Sharks at the same venue today. Rangers currently sit one point above K'Ogalo with 25 points from 13 games. City Stars' win elevated them to eighth place in the log with a total of 18 points.
