One child perishes in Eastleigh fire incident
The fire is said to have broken out on Sunday night at around 10 pm.
One child has died after a fire broke at Sgt Kahande Street in Nairobi's Eastleigh area.
The disabled child, aged five years, is said to have perished in the inferno that occurred next to Marwa Apartments near Deliverance Church along Sgt Kahande Street on Sunday night.

Firefighters from Nairobi County battled the inferno and managed to successfully extinguish the fire that broke out at the three-story building.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established but it is suspected to have been a result of a gas leak.
The body of the deceased was taken to the City Mortuary for a postmortem.

The incident comes barely two months after two minors were killed when a fire swept through their house in Pumwani, Nairobi.
According to police and witnesses, the incident happened on the fifth floor of a building along Muratina Street.
