Relief as fuel prices drop by up to Sh8

Super petrol prices dropped by Sh8.18 per litre, while diesel prices were reduced by Sh3.54 per litre, and kerosene by 6.93 per litre.

Motorists are set to enjoy some relief as the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced a decrease in fuel prices for the period between October 15 and November 14, 2024.

Super petrol prices dropped by Sh8.18 per litre, while diesel prices were reduced by Sh3.54 per litre and kerosene by 6.93 per litre.

According to EPRA, super petrol, diesel, and kerosene will trade at Sh180.66, Sh168.06, and Sh151.39 in major towns.

In the last pricing period, petrol, diesel, and kerosene were sold at Sh188.84, Sh171.6, and Sh158.32 per litre.

In Nairobi, super petrol, diesel, and kerosene will be sold at Sh180.66, Sh168.06, and Sh151.39, respectively.

Mombasa motorists will purchase petrol, diesel, and kerosene at Sh177.42, 164.82, and 148.15, respectively.

Motorists in Nakuru will pay Sh179.87 for petrol, Sh167.63 for diesel, and Sh151.01 for kerosene.

In Eldoret, motorists will spend Sh180.68 on petrol, Sh168.45 on diesel, and Sh151.82 on kerosene.

However, some sections of the country will spend as high as between Sh183.78 and Sh194.66 on petrol.

Among these towns are Isiolo, Maua, Garissa, Marsabit, Liboi, Moyale, Dadaab, Wajir, Modogashe, and Mandera.

Others are Mandera, Merti, North Horr, and Laisamis.
