What President Ruto announced ahead of Raila Odinga's burial

A funeral committee, co-chaired by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga, has been formed to coordinate the burial arrangements.
President William Ruto has declared a seven-day national mourning in honour of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
In a statement, Ruto announced that Odinga will be accorded a state funeral with full honours and the national flag will fly at half-mast across Kenya and in all its diplomatic missions abroad.

He also postponed all public engagements to join the nation in mourning and reflection.
Additionally, Ruto announced the government of India will assist in repatriating Odinga's remains.
