Voting has begun at all polling stations in Ol Kalou, with residents turning out in large numbers to cast their ballots in the highly-contested by‑election that could define the 2027 General Election.
A spot check by The Eastleigh Voice shows brisk activity at most centres, with queues forming early in the morning across the constituency, with no reported incidents or breaches despite fears following campaign violence.
"I feel today the security is well organised, they are everywhere, the security is quite well today, apart from yesterday, where one of my vehicles that was ferrying my agent was burnt by goons, but the situation was controlled," said UDA candidate Muchina Nyagah.
