As Special Advisor, Jaoko is expected to play a major role in shaping economic inclusion and livelihood strategies targeting underserved and vulnerable groups.
His new position involves working closely with the President and top government officials to develop strategic plans that promote poverty reduction and job creation.
Among his core duties will be providing policy advice on economic empowerment, focusing particularly on support for marginalised populations.
He will contribute to the development and assessment of national programmes intended to boost entrepreneurship, improve access to finance, and create sustainable employment.
In addition to his advisory role, Jaoko will be involved in overseeing and coordinating government-led initiatives that prioritise youth and women's empowerment.
His portfolio includes the promotion of microfinance opportunities, informal sector development, green jobs, and locally driven enterprises.
Jaoko’s new position also requires strong collaboration with key government ministries such as the Treasury, Trade, and Labour.
He will also engage with county governments, civil society groups, and development partners to ensure that economic empowerment programs are rolled out successfully and reach the intended beneficiaries.
