Kenyan nationals in Israel include students, religious pilgrims, and those on short scientific trips. The Kenya embassy in Tel Aviv has shared emergency contacts for potential evacuations, with plans in place if needed. Evacuation responses may involve coordination with other government agencies.
The conflict has resulted in a significant loss of life on both sides, with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowing to intensify efforts against Hamas, while the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory expressed grave concern and stated that both sides could be liable for war crimes.
As the situation continues to evolve, Kenya remains committed to ensuring the safety of its citizens in Israel and is prepared to take necessary actions to protect them.
