Marsabit Governor, ex-CS Yatani arrested in multi-billion shilling graft probe
EACC confirmed the arrests that have also roped in top county officials.
Detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) have arrested Marsabit Governor Mohamud Ali and his predecessor Ukur Yatani in a multi-billion graft in the county government.
Yatani, who served in former President Uhuru Kenyatta's regime as Treasury CS, is expected to record a statement at Integrity Centre in Nairobi.

Governor Mohamud meanwhile is expected at the EACC's Upper Eastern regional offices in Isiolo for interrogation.
EACC Spokesperson Eric Gumbi confirmed the arrests that have also roped in top county officials.
A similar raid targeting former and sitting officials in the Nairobi county government over the plunder of public funds has also been conducted.
