County Director of Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PPME) James Lobokan said the framework will promote accountability through collaborative monitoring of service delivery by various stakeholders.
Aligned with the county's proposed 2022-2032 Health Sectoral Plan, he said the document will help the department improve service provision through evidence-based planning.
"The (draft) document will promote transparency in the provision of healthcare by ensuring projects, programs and services offered are top-notch," he said.
The formulation was supported by Amref Health Africa under Kenya's USAid Uongozi wa Afya Thabiti.
The International Rescue Committee representative Mark Esekon expressed optimism that the framework would help strengthen the health system.
"We ask that the framework be implemented to the latter and ensure the concerns raised by the public are promptly addressed for seamless healthcare service provision across the hospitals," George Loruk, a resident, said.
Once validated, the framework will be distributed to various stakeholders among them healthcare workers for use.
