Shem Ngoche's stellar bowling (4 for 31) and Vishil Patel's solid contribution (2 for 46) restricted Zambia to a total of 167 for 8.
Kenya's chase was powered by Sachin Bhudia, who achieved his highest international score with an unbeaten 80. Bhudia's innings, supported by Nelson Odhiambo's 30, guided Kenya to victory with eight balls to spare. Despite an early setback where Kenya was reduced to 44 for 2 inside the powerplay by Zambia's Soyeb Pendi (2 for 33), Bhudia and Odhiambo's partnership propelled the team to 127 with 32 balls remaining.
Zambia's bowlers, including Robert Lungu who took 3 for 33, worked hard but couldn't prevent Kenya from reaching the target. Earlier, Zambia had built promising stands, aiming for a higher total, but Ngoche's late spell disrupted their plans, capturing three crucial wickets towards the end.
