The Africa Cup of Nation enters its fourth day with tantalizing games set up.

Burkina Faso vs Mauritania - 5PM EAT

In Thursday's Group D clash, Burkina Faso and Mauritania will lock horns for the first time in the continental showpiece at the Stade de Bouake. Burkina Faso, with a history of either group stage eliminations or deep tournament runs, faces the challenge of winning their opening game at AFCON. Meanwhile, Mauritania, in their third appearance, seeks redemption after finishing at the bottom of their group in previous editions, still searching for their first victory.

Since their debut AFCON match in 2019, Mauritania's struggles in front of goal are evident, having failed to score in 468 minutes of play. The pressure is on as they face Burkina Faso, who themselves aim to make a statement in the tournament.

Tunisia vs Namibia - 8PM EAT

In the first Group E clash, 2004 winners Tunisia take on Namibia at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium. Tunisia, aiming for a fourth consecutive victory against Namibia, is set to continue their consistent quarterfinal appearances in recent AFCON editions.

On the flip side, Namibia's Brave Warriors, although unbeaten in four of their last five matches, have struggled to make an impact in previous AFCON editions. As they face Tunisia, they seek to break free from the group stage curse that has plagued them in past tournaments.

Mali vs South Africa - 11PM EAT

The second Group E encounter features Mali against 1996 winners South Africa at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo. Mali, known for their impressive offensive record during the qualifiers, enters the match unbeaten in their last seven games across all competitions.

South Africa, returning to AFCON after missing the last edition, faces a tough challenge with just one win in their last five matches. The clash between Mali and South Africa promises to be intense, with both teams eager to make their mark in the tournament.
