All set for inaugural KVF Men's Kenya Cup as new teams enter the fray

Kenyan volleyball fans are set for an exciting debut edition of the KVF Men's Kenya Cup, which kicks off on February 15, 2025, at the Kasarani Indoor Arena. With Administration Police and Kenya Prisons joining the fray, the tournament now features ten teams divided into two pools. Action will unfold over two days, with teams battling for early dominance before resuming league duties later in the month.

The inaugural KVF Men's Kenya Cup is set to kick off on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Kasarani Indoor Arena, with the competition expanding to ten teams following the late inclusion of Administration Police and Kenya Prisons.

With these additions, the tournament will now feature two pools of five teams each. Administration Police joins Pool A alongside Equity Bank, GSU, Kenya Army, and KPA, while Kenya Prisons slots into Pool B with Chema Volleyball Club, KAPU, KDF, and Trailblazers.

Unlike the Women's Kenya Cup, which began with a single-day opening round, the men’s tournament will feature two days of action, extending to Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Opening weekend fixtures

Five teams - Equity Bank, GSU, KAPU, KDF, and Trailblazers, will have the busiest schedule, playing on both Saturday and Sunday. KPA will be the only team without a match on the opening weekend.

The Kenya Volleyball Federation is yet to confirm the full schedule for the next rounds. After the opening weekend, teams will shift their focus back to league play, with the fourth leg of KVF league matches scheduled from February 27 to March 2.
