Serie A matches postponed following death of Pope Francis
The decision by the FIGC affects four Serie A matches which had been scheduled to be played on Easter Monday, which is a national holiday in Italy.
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced the postponement of all matches across all divisions of Italy's professional and amateur leagues that were scheduled to be played on Monday following the death of Pope Francis.
Pope Francis died at the age of 88 on Easter Monday after weeks of treatment for an infection.

The decision by the FIGC affects four Serie A matches which had been scheduled to be played on Easter Monday, which is a national holiday in Italy.
The postponed Serie A matches, which have been postponed to a later date, are:
- Torino vs Udinese
- Calgiari vs Fiorentina
- Genoa vs Lazio
- Parma vs Juventus
"Italian football shares with emotion the grief of hundreds of millions of people for the painful passing of His Holiness Pope Francis," the FIGC said in a statement by its President, Gabriele Gravina.
"A great example of Christian charity and dignity in suffering, he always showed himself attentive to the world of sport and football in particular, of which he was passionate," the statement added.
Born on December 17, 1936, Pope Francis was a lifelong football fan known for his ardent support of San Lorenzo de Almagro.
San Lorenzo is an Argentine top-flight football club based in Pope Francis' hometown in Buenos Aires.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio (Pope Francis) started supporting San Lorenzo when he was nine years old, and his election as Pope in March 2013 thrust the then little-known football club into the global limelight.
Soon after his election as Pope, San Lorenzo honoured Pope Francis by playing their match against Colon on March 16, 2013, with jerseys that had his face on them.
San Lorenzo is yet to give a statement following the Pope's death.
