Exciting pools revealed for Ingo7s at ASK Kakamega Showground

Ingo 7s will be held at the ASK Showground in Kakamega on the weekend of 3-4 August
The eagerly anticipated Ingo7s rugby tournament, a key event in the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Sevens Circuit, is set to showcase the Men's Division One pools at the ASK Kakamega Showground. The competition will unfold over an action-packed weekend on August 3rd and 4th, 2024.
This announcement follows closely on the heels of the Christie 7s, recently concluded at the RFUEA grounds in Nairobi. Kabras Sugar claimed victory in this thrilling tournament, defeating the hosts, Kenya Harlequins, in a gripping final.
In Pool A, the 2024 Christie 7s champions, Kabras Sugar, will face off against Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Blak Blad, and Western Bulls. Kabras Sugar will be looking to extend their triumphant run in what promises to be a series of intense matches.
Pool B will see the Christie 7s runners-up, Kenya Harlequins FC, compete against Nondies, Daystar Falcons, and Mwamba. The Harlequins will be eager to bounce back and assert their dominance after their recent narrow loss.
Pool C includes Catholic Monks, Menengai Oilers, Homeboyz Rugby, and Kisumu RFC. This diverse lineup is set to deliver some unexpected and exciting performances as each team battles for the top position.
Finally, Pool D features Strathmore Leos, KCB Rugby, Nakuru RFC, and Stallions Rugby. This pool is anticipated to be fiercely competitive, with all teams striving to secure their place in the next round of the tournament.
