In 2023, the Ministry of Education introduced the double collection of examination papers policy to curb cheating. 

According to Njeng'ere, registration for the 2025 KPSEA candidates will begin on January 27, 2025.

Njeng'ere encouraged both students and educators to prepare for a seamless transition as the CBC continues to take shape in the coming years.

The questionnaires are part of KNEC's ongoing efforts to implement the CBC, which is designed to focus on the holistic development of students.

The measures, which have been effective since 2021, are intended to curb malpractices ahead of national examinations.

After verification, applicants will receive an SMS notification to log in and make a payment of Sh5,220.

KPSEA exam is set to begin on October 28 to 31, 2024.
