Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen said the plan paves the way for the transformation of refugee camps into integrated and sustainable settlements.

Earlier, MPs from the host community raised contentious issues bedevilling the successful implementation of the plan.

The department claims to have swiftly responded to the crisis and is working to procure a replacement machine to enable the resumption of services.
