The petitioners say that they have lived in the estate for more than 50 years, adding that it has a historical and cultural heritage.

The roads include Kapiti, Aoko, Plainsview, Mwangeka, Sore, Mchumbi, Daidai, Mukenia and Mariakani.

The donations were to at least 1,000 families affected by demolition of houses and other structures built on riparian land.
