A nationwide survey found that nearly 79 per cent of employers have only 0–25 per cent of their workforce as persons with disabilities.

In the public sector, the hospitality sector, emerged as the highest-paying, with an employee earning an average annual wage of Sh2.9 million in 2024.

The company cited a reduction in business and high operating costs as key reasons behind the decision.
