Omanyala ran world-leading 100m time as Emmanuel Wanyonyi broke the 800m record on the final day of the Kenya Olympics trials at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The African champion finished fifth in a race won by American Kenneth Bednarek
The two will however be competing in different events and will therefore not clash in the 100m race as earlier anticipated.
This year's Kip Keino Classic will be held on Saturday 20 April at the Nyayo National Stadium
This marked a significant improvement from his previous national record of 6.54 set just last year.
