Jowie has informed the court of his intention to be physically present during the hearing of his appeal against the verdict of Justice Grace Nzioka.

His sentence remains in force unless the Court of Appeal sets aside the judgement handed by Lady Justice Grace Nzioka on Wednesday.

Justice Nzioka said the evidence presented in the case did not lead to the conclusion that the death was accidental.

Justice Grace Nzioka raised the issue of parties on the case dragging the matter and not filing their submissions on time.
