Should the proposal become law, postpaid customers will see their bills netted off, while those on prepaid will get free tokens for their usage.

The affected areas are from 3rd Street to 14th Street on Second Avenue, leaving businesses without electricity.

The other affected counties are Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Lamu, and Tana River.
