Alongside the rainfall, Kenya Met also issued a temperature advisory, warning of cooler temperatures in several regions.

According to the weatherman, rainfall will occur sporadically throughout the day, with downpours expected in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

The Met department said the probability of La Niña occurring stands at 71 per cent, with the effects expected to persist into early 2025.

The fertiliser is the first batch of 97,000 tonnes procured by the Kenya Tea Development Agency to support farmers.
