Muturi on Monday revealed that 180,000 national identity cards, 47,000 driving licenses, and 54,000 birth certificates are waiting for collection.

After an impromptu visit to the NTSA offices in Nairobi, the CS mentioned that 41,827 number plates and 235,229 logbooks are awaiting collection.

The extension to the weekend caters to clients who have been busy during the week and therefore unable to collect their documents.
