Kenya aims to achieve the goal of planting 15 billion trees by 2032 in efforts to mitigate the harsh impact of climate change in the country.

To ensure accountability and monitoring of tree planting efforts, citizens are encouraged to record all trees planted.

The President is expected to launch the national exercise at Kiu Wetland in Makindu, Makueni County.
