PSG crush Inter to win first-ever Champions League title in style

Paris Saint-Germain were at their brilliant best in the Champions League final, demolishing Inter Milan 5–0 to win the European title for the first time in club history. The emphatic win also sealed a historic treble for Luis Enrique’s side, who outclassed the Italians from start to finish.

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a masterclass performance to win their first-ever UEFA Champions League title, securing the biggest victory margin in the history of the final. The French giants outclassed Inter Milan 5–0 in a dominant display at Europe's biggest stage, confirming their status as the best team on the continent this season.

Luis Enrique’s side were ruthless in attack, solid in defence, and fully deserving of the win that capped a historic treble-winning campaign. From the first whistle, it was clear that PSG were in control.

PSG dictated the tempo early, with Marquinhos heading wide just eight minutes in. The warning signs for Inter came quickly, and by the 12th minute, PSG had taken the lead with a superb team move. Vitinha started the play, feeding Doue, whose clever touch found Achraf Hakimi. The Moroccan slotted into an empty net but chose not to celebrate against his former club.

Six minutes later, the French side doubled their lead. Ousmane Dembélé led a blistering counterattack before finding Doue, who struck the ball first-time. A slight deflection off Federico Dimarco helped it past Yann Sommer, but the goal was credited to the young forward — his first of the night.

Inter Milan offered little in response. Their only notable chances came from corners. Francesco Acerbi fired over once, and Marcus Thuram’s header went wide. At the other end, Kvaratskhelia threatened twice before the break but couldn’t find the target.

If there was any hope left for Inter, it was extinguished moments into the second half. Kvaratskhelia continued to cause problems and set the tone for PSG’s relentless second period.

In the 63rd minute, PSG made it 3–0. Dembélé cleverly flicked the ball to Vitinha, who set up Doue for his second goal of the night. The move was a thing of beauty, showcasing the fluid attacking play that has defined PSG's season.

Kvaratskhelia then got on the scoresheet himself, making it 4–0 after latching onto a brilliant pass and calmly finishing to pile more misery on the Italian side.

The final flourish came from Mayulu, who sealed the 5–0 victory with a clinical strike following a well-worked move involving Bradley Barcola.

The emphatic win marked PSG's first-ever Champions League triumph and completed a remarkable treble — having already secured the Ligue 1 title and the domestic cup.

For Luis Enrique, it was a second Champions League crown as a manager, and further proof of his credentials as one of the top coaches in world football.
