Starlets name travelling squad, set to depart for Tunisia for return leg

Harambee Starlets have named their 23-player travelling squad and will depart tonight, Monday, 24th February, for Tunisia ahead of their decisive second-leg clash in the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers. With the first leg in Nairobi ending in a goalless draw, Kenya will be aiming for a strong performance in Tunis to keep their qualification hopes alive.
Harambee Starlets will leave tonight, Monday, 24th February, for Tunisia ahead of their decisive second-leg clash in the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.
The match is set for Wednesday, 26th February, at 4 PM EAT at the Stade Olympique de Sousse in Tunis. Kenya will be looking to overturn their disappointing 0-0 draw in the first leg played at home on Friday.
Head coach Beldine Odemba has named a 23-player squad for the trip, with a mix of experienced leaders and promising talents. The team will be banking on a strong performance to secure progression to the next round, where they will face either Niger or Gambia. If successful, it would mark Kenya’s second WAFCON appearance within a decade.
