According to the police, Sh9.1 million was recovered during the operation which also netted a getaway car that was used by the suspects to escape with the loot on 6 November in Rongai.
The car, police say, was identified through surveillance cameras on the highways where it passed from South C to Karen.
The money stolen was from the weekend sales of one of the Quickmart Supermarkets and was meant to be taken to a local bank in the Nairobi CBD.
A suspect identified as the owner of the vehicle used in the heist, was first arrested in Rongai before he led the police to Njiru, Kayole where two more suspects were nabbed.
The other two were found trying to modify the salon car to conceal its identity at a garage, police said.
The suspects later led police to Thika Road Mall (TRM) in Kasarani, where a fourth suspect was arrested at his rented residence.
Police had earlier recovered an empty cash box in Gataka market in Karen.
It is believed it is the place where the cash was shared among the suspects hours after the heist at the Wells Fargo vault in South C.
