Umi said despite challenges in Wajir, such as a shortage of teachers, insecurity, and poverty, Kaltuma managed to achieve excellence. She added that Kaltuma's accomplishment showcases hard work and resilience.
Umi also hopes that the success of Kaltuma will inspire all girls, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to believe in their potential.
Kaltuma attributed her success in KCSE to hard work, determination, and support from both parents and teachers. She aspires to be a medical doctor in the future.
