"KUCCPS portal is now open for Degree, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Teacher Training Colleges (TTC) applications," KUCCPS said.
A total of 246,391 students who met the university entry requirements can now submit their applications through the portal before the April 21, 2025, deadline.
Eligible students can apply for courses in 40 public universities, 29 private universities, and the Open University of Kenya (OPUK).
The placement also includes training institutions such as TVET institutions, Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), and TTCs.
Interested students have been urged to apply via the KUCCPS student portal; student.kuccps.net.
KUCCPS had earlier reopened its portal for KMTC applicants on February 26, following a previous application window that opened on January 24 and closed on February 14, 2025.
The agency said the reopening was to allow students to apply for 21 KMTC courses that still have available slots for the March 2025 intake.
"All applicants who were not successful in the last application and others who would like to join KMTC in March 2025 are invited to apply," the statement read.
KUCCPS was established in 2014 to oversee student placement in universities, teacher training colleges, national polytechnics, and TVET institutions. The agency is also responsible for developing career guidance programmes, managing student placement data, and advising the government on matters related to higher education placement.
To access the KUCCPS portal, students must log in using their KCSE index number, examination year, and a password, which can either be their KCPE index number or birth certificate number.
The KUCCPS student application page (students.kuccps.net) is accessible through the KUCCPS website (www.kuccps.net) or via the KUCCPS Students App.
