The TSC outlined the key duties of the incoming CEO, noting that the holder of the position will serve as the head of the secretariat, the Commission’s Accounting Officer, and custodian of all its records. The CEO will also be responsible for executing Commission decisions, supervising staff and ensuring the implementation of the agency’s mandate and relevant laws.
“The Secretary shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Commission responsible for implementation of policies, decisions and strategies of the Commission,” read part of the advertisement.
The Commission has urged interested applicants to download the official application form from its website (www.tsc.go.ke), fill it and submit it alongside a detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of their national ID or passport, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.
Applications may be submitted online via the portal https://www.recruitment.tsc.go.ke, as a PDF attachment through email to [email protected], or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the Office of the Commission Chair at TSC House, 3rd Floor, Tower Wing, Kilimanjaro Road, Upper Hill, Nairobi.
TSC said the deadline for applications is on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 5:00 pm East African Time.
Applicants are also required to provide clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Higher Education Loans Board, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, and a recognised Credit Reference Bureau.
“The names of all applicants and the interview schedule of those shortlisted shall be published in the print media and the Commission’s website,” TSC said, adding that providing false information would lead to disqualification and possible legal consequences.
The Commission warned against canvassing, stating, “Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification.”
The TSC further reaffirmed its commitment to inclusivity, declaring that it is an equal opportunity employer.
