Results for private candidates who sat May/June 2025 exams are ready- KNEC

In Nairobi, results can be collected at the Foreign Examinations Office located at the New Mitihani House. In Mombasa, candidates are required to go to the Uhuru na Kazi Building, fourth floor.

Candidates who sat for the May/June 2025 Pearson Edexcel International Examinations can now access their results, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced.

In a notice issued on Thursday, August 28, KNEC stated that private candidates who took part in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), International A Levels (IAL), and International Primary and Lower Secondary Curriculum (IPLSC) exams for years 6 and 9 can collect their results at designated collection centres in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Eldoret.

“The results for the May/June 2025 examination series (IGCSE, IAL & IPSC (Year 6 & 9) are now available for collection. The results for this and previous series can be collected by respective candidates as follows,” the council said.

In Nairobi, results can be collected at the Foreign Examinations Office located at the New Mitihani House. In Mombasa, candidates are required to go to the Uhuru na Kazi Building, fourth floor.

Those in Eldoret have been directed to pick their results from Gulab Lochab Academy.

KNEC is the authorised body responsible for registering private candidates and administering Pearson international exams in the country.

The registration and administration services for these exams are only available in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Uasin Gishu counties.

The release of these international exam results follows shortly after KNEC issued the results for the March 2025 Business and Technical examinations.

The announcement for that batch was made on July 10, when the council confirmed that results were ready for pick-up at the New Mitihani House in Nairobi.

Heads of institutions that presented candidates for the March exams were directed to personally collect the results. However, the council emphasised that any institution with unpaid examination fees would be denied access to the results until the arrears were cleared.

“Institutions with examination fee arrears are expected to clear them before collecting the results,” KNEC stated.

The council further advised that any queries related to the released results should be raised through the Heads of Institutions and must be submitted online within 30 days from the official release date.
