This follows a growing number of complaints from citizens who report having been duped, overcharged, or abandoned by unlicensed actors posing as legitimate recruiters.
Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua, in a strongly worded statement, ordered all the named parties to appear before the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday, July 21, between 8 am and 2 pm, at the Multi-Agency Taskforce Office located on the 7th floor of Block C at the NSSF Building in Nairobi.
“All individuals and companies listed in the attached complaint log are hereby summoned to appear before the DCI desk located at the Multi-Agency Taskforce Office, NSSF Building, Block C, 7th Floor.”
Dr. Mutua made it clear that failing to comply with the summons would not go unpunished.
“Failure to honour this summons will attract coercive legal action in accordance with Kenyan law, including but not limited to arrest, prosecution, and deregistration where applicable,” said the CS.
He emphasised the government’s zero-tolerance stance on rogue recruitment practices, issuing a sharp warning to unregistered operators.
