He rejoined TNS on loan in August 2024 from English side Bradford City, where he had signed a three-year contract the previous year. His return proved to be a turning point for both the player and the club.
The 23-year-old featured in 33 matches across all competitions, contributing to 20 goals. Among his standout moments was a dazzling hat-trick during a 6–0 demolition of Cardiff Met in March 2025, a performance that showcased his clinical finishing and explosive pace on the wing.
Beyond domestic success, Ayiro played an integral part in TNS making continental history. The club became the first Welsh team to qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, a significant milestone for Welsh football.
Born in Ashington, England, Wilson came through the youth ranks at Newcastle United, turning professional in 2018. He had his first spell with TNS in 2022, a season in which he won a league and cup double and earned recognition as the Supporters' Player of the Year.
His consistent performances earned him a move to Bradford City in 2023, but limited opportunities there saw him return to TNS to reignite his form.
Internationally, Ayiro initially represented England at the U18 level before committing to Kenya, honouring his roots. In May 2024, he received his first senior call-up to the Harambee Stars, a key moment in his international career.
Though he's yet to make his debut, he is seen as a player with immense potential, especially as Kenya eyes a strong showing in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which the country will co-host with Uganda and Tanzania.
With his TNS loan spell concluded, Wilson's next move will be watched closely. Whether he returns to Bradford or secures a new opportunity elsewhere, his recent performances have firmly positioned him as one of Kenya's brightest footballing prospects abroad.
