Gor Mahia remains at the helm of the FKFPL standings with 51 points after 25 matches

Murang'a Seal continued to enjoy life in the top flight after completing the double over the embattled Nzoia Sugar FC with a 4-0 home win at the Sebastian Park in Murang'a.

Murang'a Seal had won 1-0 away to the sugarmen in the first leg and started the demolition job on the league's bottom-placed club in the 7th minute from Joseph Waithira. Tyson Kapchanga added a second in the 45th minute to give the home team a 2-0 halftime lead.

In second half, Murang'a Seal sat comfortably on the 2-0 lead before Batts Awita and Maxwell Odada struck in the 90th and 92nd minute to complete the rout.

The win, Murang'a Seal's biggest in the top flight, saw them leapfrog KCB and Bidco United into ninth place with 34 points as the woe-ridden Nzoia Sugar remained bottom with a paltry 18 points.

Bidco United and KCB battled to a barren draw in a 1 pm kick off played at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos. The result saw KCB drop to 10th with 34 points while Bidco United were left 11th with 33 points.

At the same venue in a 4 pm kick-off, Kenya Police had Tito Okello's brace to thank for their 2-1 win over FC Talanta. With the first half having ended goalless, Okello put the law enforcers in the lead with a goal in the 49th minute. Kevintom Machika equalised for home side in the 56th minute but Okello completed his brace in the 85th minute to help Police come a point within Tusker and Bandari in fourth place. Police now have 42 points while Tusker and Bandari are joint-second with 43 points but the alemen are ranked higher on goal difference.

At the Nyayo National Stadium, AFC Leopards missed a chance to return to winning ways after 10-man Sofapaka held them to a 1-1 draw. Rodgers Kipkemboi put Sofapaka ahead in the 1st minute before turning villain when he was given his matching orders in the 73rd minute. Victor Omune had levelled for AFC Leopards before the away team was reduced to 10-men but Ingwe failed to make most of their numerical advantage. The result leaves AFC Leopards eighth with 35 points while Sofapaka remain 15th with 27 points.
