AFC Leopards continued to flirt with relegation after suffering a 2-1 defeat at the hands of 10-man Bidco United. Shariff Musa scored a brace for Bidco, with Victor Omune scoring a consolation for Ingwe.
It has been an eventful weekend in the FKF Premier League.
Defending champions Gor Mahia were held to a 2-2 by Nzoia Sugar at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay on Saturday, December 9, 2023, as Ulinzi Stars had to settle for a one-all draw with Murang'a Seals at St Sebastien Park on the same day.

K’Ogalo faced an early setback after Nzoia Sugar netted twice in the first half, with Barisa Mohamed finding the back of the net in the 10th and 31st minutes. However, the Green Army fought back with Patrick Kaddu halving the deficit just before halftime. Benson Omalla later equalised from the penalty spot in the 59th minute, sharing the spoils in a hotly contested game.
At St Sebastien Park, Ulinzi Stars took an early lead through a corner by Mark Bikokwa. However, Awita Batts of Murang'a Seals levelled the score with 11 minutes remaining, a 1-1 draw the final result.

Nairobi City Stars emerged victorious by defeating Bandari 1-0, with Robinson Asenwa securing the winning goal at the Police Sacco Stadium in Nairobi. In another fixture, KCB and Talanta played to a goalless draw.
Gor Mahia maintains its position at the top of the league table with 28 points from 14 matches, holding a three-point lead over second-placed Posta Rangers, who have a game in hand.
On Sunday, Tusker FC played out to a barren draw with Posta Rangers at the Ruaraka Grounds. Despite the Brewers’ efforts, including striker Erick Kapaito's early attempt saved by Kelvin Opiyo, both teams struggled to break the deadlock.

Shabana’s woes were compounded by another 2-0 defeat to Kakamega Homeboys at Bukhungu Stadium courtesy of goals from Moses Shumah and Hillary Otieno. They remain in the relegation zone, tied with AFC Leopards on 11 points but behind on goal difference.
In other Sunday fixtures, Sofapaka beat Kariobangi Sharks 2-1, while the match between Muhoroni Youth and Police FC was called off due to heavy rainfall.
